Flooring

Solid and engineered timber, vinyl and laminate. And restoring what you already have.

The same floor after sanding and varnishing

Before any floor goes down, the base has to be level and dry. It is the check most often skipped and the one that causes the most grief afterwards, because a floor that moves cannot be fixed without lifting the lot.

If you already have an old timber floor, it is almost always worth restoring. Sanding and sealing costs less than a new floor and the result beats any imitation.
